SUNY Broome is seeking a full-time, on-site Assistant Director of Administrative Information Systems. This position will report to the Director of Information Technology Services (ITS). The Assistant Director provides technical support for installation, setup, and maintenance of the campus Human Resources, Finance, and Student and Financial Aid administrative computing systems and all associated system vendor and third-party applications and services. Directly supervises Programmer Analyst staff in coordination with the Director of ITS. Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related discipline or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience is required.
Additional coursework in programming, database systems, project management, or other related areas is desired.
Experience with Ellucian Banner or other ERP systems is desired.
Experience with Oracle is desired.
Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in the computing and programming environments is required.
Additional Information:
The minimum salary rate for this position is $66,250.
Offers of employment will be conditional based upon the results of a satisfactory, required pre-employment Standard Background Check.
